This is a commanding sculpt of a Mind Overlord mid-incantation — a towering, armoured aberration wreathed in billowing, flame-like energy that erupts from the base in roiling waves. The figure stands elevated above the chaos, robes and tendrils sweeping outward as though caught in the current of its own eldritch power. In one clawed hand it cradles an ornate tome, its pages alive with arcane script; the other hand reaches forward, taloned fingers splayed as it bends reality to its purpose.

The sculpt layers detail with real intent. The crested, insectoid helm frames a grotesque face half-obscured by shadow, while chitinous armour plates and flowing cloth wrap the body in equal measure. Tentacles coil from the midsection, weaving through robes and flame alike, reinforcing the sense of something not quite natural wearing civilisation like a mask. The scenic base — a churning vortex of summoned energy — gives the whole piece tremendous vertical presence and visual drama.

Whether you paint this in deep purples and sickly greens to lean into the Underdark horror, or favour cold metallics and eldritch blue flame for a more otherworldly Abyssal feel, there is extraordinary surface area here for skilled brushwork. It does not look up as they enter. It already knew they were coming.
