This is the second sculpt in Novaminis' Mind Flayer range, and where the first variant leans into menace, this one radiates cold, ceremonial authority. The illithid stands tall in layered robes decorated with eldritch script, bound at the waist by a wide belt bearing a grinning skull buckle — the mark of a creature that has catalogued death for centuries. Heavy chains hang from the belt alongside a spiked flail, hinting that this particular elder is no stranger to inflicting physical suffering alongside psychic torment.

The four facial tentacles curl outward with predatory confidence, framed by a jagged crown of bone-like spines that sweep upward from the skull. The arms are extended — one hand splayed open with curved talons, the other slightly raised — suggesting either a telepathic compulsion being issued or the final moment before a Mind Blast reshapes the battlefield.
