Mimics are among the most devious creatures in any dungeon master's arsenal, and Novaminis have captured that lethal deception in miniature form with the Mimic Square Table 01. This bundle includes the mimic in both its hidden and revealed states — a convincingly mundane square table with wood-grain texture on one hand, and the same form erupting into a fang-filled, wide-eyed nightmare on the other. The sculpt detail on the revealed state is particularly satisfying: the maw stretches wide, the eyes bulge with predatory hunger, and the creature's musculature strains beneath the table's surface as it lunges forward.

The hidden variant is a straight-faced wooden table — no giveaway eyes, no hint of what lies beneath — making it enormously useful for building tension at the table. Place it amongst genuine scatter terrain, and your adventurers will never quite trust a piece of furniture again. The revealed variant, mid-lunge with jaws agape, is equally at home as a centrepiece encounter marker or a display piece on the hobby shelf.
