The Mimic Crate is one of those sculpts that earns a genuine reaction at the table. Where the classic mimic chest plays on treasure-room greed, this one exploits something far more mundane: the supply room, the storage cellar, the forgotten stack of goods in a merchant's warehouse. The creature bursts from its wooden disguise mid-lunge, ruined planks splitting outward as a gaping maw lined with curved, irregular teeth erupts from what looked like ordinary cargo. The detail on the wood grain texture is exceptional — iron corner brackets, nail heads, and splintered slats all rendered with real conviction alongside the creature's reptilian hide, sunken eyes, and those deeply unsettling fangs.

Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is supplied unattached and can be affixed with a small amount of glue. The sculpt comes as two pieces (attacking and closed forms). Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or use as-is for immediate table play.
