This is the Mimic Chair 01 from Novaminis, and it captures the creature mid-reveal: the wooden backrest splitting apart to expose a grotesque face, rows of jagged teeth erupting from what was once a seat, and a thick, coiling tongue lunging forward from a cavernous maw. The sculpt includes two separate states — the innocuous closed form of a plain wooden chair, and the fully transformed, wide-open horror — giving Dungeon Masters everything they need to stage the reveal at the table. The woodgrain texture across both versions is exquisitely detailed, making the disguised version genuinely convincing on a dungeon dressing tile.

Mimics are one of D&D's most beloved trick encounters — and a mimic shaped like furniture rather than a chest adds a layer of paranoia your players won't see coming. Scaled to 32mm. Supplied with an optional plain black base, which comes unattached and can be affixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin miniatures, minor marks from the printing process may occasionally be present and are straightforward to clean up. Ready for priming and painting straight from the box.
