The Mimic is one of tabletop gaming's most beloved monsters, and this sculpt by Novaminis captures exactly why. This is Mimic Barrel 01 — the first variation in the Mimic Barrel range — and it comes as a two-piece set: one perfectly innocent-looking barrel, and one mid-reveal barrel with the beast's maw split wide open, rows of jagged teeth bared and a thick, curling tongue lolling forward. The woodgrain texture on the staves, the riveted iron hoops, and the warped, cracking barrel body where the creature's form pushes through are all rendered with impressive detail, making this a characterful centrepiece for any dungeon scene.
Whether you're using the closed barrel as misdirection scatter terrain before dramatically swapping it for the open-mouthed version mid-encounter, or displaying both side by side on a shelf to tell the full story, this set rewards both Dungeon Masters and collectors. Encounter Hook:
The rogue spots three barrels stacked in the corner of the cellar — two smell of ale, but the third has no scent at all. As the fighter moves in to investigate, the middle barrel slowly, silently tilts its gaze in their direction. Roll for initiative.
Comes as a set of two sculpts: the dormant barrel and the revealed Mimic. Scaled to 32mm. A plain black base is available as an option at checkout — bases are supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Minis arrive with supports removed and are ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight from the box.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
