This is Mimic 07 from Yasashii Kyojin Studios — a brilliantly unsettling double-scatter piece depicting a mimic in mid-reveal. An iron-banded wooden barrel lies on its side, lid ajar, with a glistening pseudopod coiling out across the floor. Behind it, a second mimic crouches in the form of a studded treasure chest, banded and bolted and entirely too still. The detail across both pieces is excellent — the wood-grain texture on the barrel staves, the nail-head rivets on the chest, and the organic, fluid quality of the ooze-like appendage all make for a genuinely characterful encounter prop.

Mimics are a staple of dungeon design precisely because they punish assumption. These two pieces work brilliantly together as a coordinated ambush — or scatter them separately across different rooms to keep your players second-guessing every piece of furniture in the dungeon. Equally at home on a display shelf as a centrepiece for any hoard or tavern scene.

Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base; the base is unattached and can be glued into place. As with all hand-finished prints, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present — these are easily tidied up before painting.
