The Mimic is one of D&D's most beloved dungeon predators, and this sculpt by Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures it at the precise moment the illusion breaks. The wooden chest cracks open to reveal a gaping maw lined with jagged, inward-curving teeth, a thick coiling tentacle sprawling outward across the base, and clawed limbs braced as though already lunging. Every plank, hinge, and latch of the chest's disguise is rendered in sharp detail — making it genuinely convincing as mundane scatter right up until players look twice. This is Mimic 06, a distinct pose in the Yasashii Kyojin Mimic range, showing the creature mid-reveal in an open-maw attack pose.
At 20mm tall (scaled to 32mm), it sits naturally alongside standard dungeon scatter and works equally well as a centrepiece in a treasure-room trap encounter or as a display piece on a collector's shelf. The sculpt rewards painting — the contrast between the rough-hewn chest panels and the organic, fleshy interior gives painters plenty of texture to work with.

What's included:
One Mimic 06 miniature, scaled to 32mm (approximately 20mm tall). Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed prior to dispatch; as with all high-detail resin printing, minor surface marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up before priming.
