The Mimic is one of the most beloved monsters in tabletop RPG history, and this sculpt from Yasashii Kyojin Studios captures exactly why. This particular pose shows the creature mid-reveal: a muscular, serpentine body coiling upright as a convincing wooden treasure chest — complete with iron ring and panelled lid — gapes open above a maw of curved, wicked fangs. Clawed hands grip the chest's sides as if holding the disguise in place, and the creature's taloned feet curl against the ground, poised to lunge. It's tense, dynamic, and deeply unsettling in all the right ways.
Scaled at 28mm, this is a compact but characterful piece. What's included:
One Mimic 01 miniature by Yasashii Kyojin Studios, scaled at 28mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks may occasionally be present and are straightforward to clean up.
