Description

She carries a skull in one hand and a secret in the other — and the knight at her back has forgotten that he once had a name.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Mildred is no crone crouching in a swamp. She moves barefoot and unhurried, her long braids resting easy over her shoulder, a polished skull cradled in her palms like a familiar old keepsake. Whatever she bargained for it, she has no regrets. Behind her, her knight kneels in full plate and chainmail, visor down, greatsword planted before him in the earth — not protecting her, exactly, but bound to her in a way that looks disturbingly like devotion. His fur-trimmed pauldrons and billowing cape suggest a man who was once somebody important. He may not remember that.

This is a two-character set that tells a whole story without a single word of dialogue — an enchantress and her unwilling (or perhaps entirely willing) guardian, surrounded by drifting magical vapour at their feet. Whether Mildred reads as a Hag, a Warlock, a dark Fey noble, or simply a very dangerous village woman, this set has the narrative weight to anchor an entire arc. Equally at home on a Dungeon Master's encounter mat or a display shelf, it rewards painters with layers of texture across chainmail, flowing fabric, and expressive faces.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a Feywild bargainer, coven leader, or manipulative NPC for their campaign
  • Want to represent a Warlock's patron made manifest at the table
  • Are building a dark fairy tale or Ravenloft-adjacent encounter
  • Collect narrative multi-figure pieces for display painting
  • Want a villain whose presence raises immediate questions about the knight's fate

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks the missing knight-commander to a forest clearing, where they find him kneeling silently in the fog. The barefoot woman beside him smiles at the adventurers' approach, turns the skull in her hands, and says: "He came here willingly, you know. They always do."

This set is scaled to 32mm and includes Mildred, the knight, and the swirling magical base effect as separate components, easily assembled with a small amount of glue. A decorative or plain black base is included separately. The figures arrive ready for priming and painting, or can be used as-is straight from the box.
