Description

She leans forward across the offering pedestal, horns adorned with hanging rings, rope knotted at her chest — a shrine maiden touched by something older and far less holy than the kami she was sworn to serve.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

The Miko Bust from Great Grimoire captures a figure steeped in spiritual contradiction: the flowing robes and braided hair of a traditional shrine maiden, interrupted by a pair of curved horns and a gaze that could curdle blessed water. Every surface rewards a painter's attention — the loose fall of her hair, the intricate braid swept down her back, the rope-bound collar at her chest, and the delicate ring earrings catching the light. Whether she serves as a fallen priestess, a corrupted oracle, or a demon-touched NPC who holds the key to your campaign's darkest secret, this bust brings genuine narrative weight to shelf or table alike.

As a display bust, this piece is sculpted for expression and surface detail rather than tabletop combat — but her presence will make your adventurers deeply uncomfortable the moment she appears on the table. Collectors and painters will find her a rewarding project; DMs will find her unforgettable as a visual prop.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Want a detailed, characterful bust for a display or showcase painting project
  • Are building a collection of fantasy NPCs, villains, or morally ambiguous figures
  • Need a memorable visual prop for a campaign featuring corrupted shrines, spirit realms, or divine intrigue
  • Enjoy painting hair, flowing fabric, and facial expression in fine detail

Encounter Hook:
The village shrine has stood untouched for three hundred years — until the players discover that the miko who tends it hasn't aged a day, still wears the same rope-bound robes, and her horns have been growing slowly longer every decade. She smiles when they notice. She has been waiting for someone clever enough to ask the right question.
