The Metalforged Fighter is a construct warrior encased in segmented plate armour, its face hidden behind a featureless combat mask. What sets this sculpt apart is its weapon of choice: not a blade or a hammer, but heavy iron chains, gripped in both gauntleted fists and trailing to the ground like the remnants of old bondage — or a weapon still waiting to strike. The wide, grounded stance gives the impression of something that has stood its ground before, and will again, regardless of who or what comes next.
Whether you're fielding this as a warforged fighter, a magically animated guardian, an arcane construct gone rogue, or a unique player character on a Eberron-inspired campaign, this miniature carries real presence on the table. The detailed plating, the articulated limbs, and those chains all make it equally compelling as a painted display piece or an unpainted centrepiece on the battlemat.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Want a warforged or construct fighter that looks genuinely distinct from standard armoured humanoids
- Are running Eberron, artificer-heavy, or magitech-themed campaigns
- Need a chain-wielding enemy guardian, arena combatant, or ancient automaton as an NPC or boss
- Enjoy painting mechanical armour, metallic plating, and weathered iron
- Are building a display collection that mixes character and creature sculpts
Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the undercroft of a collapsed artificer's guild and finds a single figure standing in the dark — plated, masked, and holding chains that once tethered three war beasts. It turns its head slowly as their torch light falls across it. Somewhere deep in its construct chest, something clicks into readiness. It has been waiting for intruders for two hundred years. It is very good at waiting.
