Description
Something vast and horned dragged itself from the surf — not a shark, not a devil, but something older and angrier than both.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Merrow occupies a grim corner of D&D mythology — once water-breathing humanoids, warped by demonic corruption into something feral and relentless. This sculpt by MZ4250 captures that savage duality with real conviction: a powerfully muscled frame lunges forward mid-charge, one clawed hand raking outward while the other drives a barbed spear forward at speed. The creature's dragonlike head is thrown back in a snarl, horns flared, jaw open wide — fury given form. A spiked tail trails behind, and the beast's posture suggests it has already closed the gap between water and prey.
The detail throughout is characterful and deliberate — the broad musculature, the pouched belt at the waist, the ridge of dorsal spines along the back — all pointing to a creature that hunts, thinks, and kills with purpose. Whether you're running a coastal ambush, a raid on a fishing village, or a descent into flooded ruins, this Merrow arrives with menace already built in.
Equally compelling as a display piece, the sculpt has the kind of kinetic energy that rewards a confident paint job — salt-crusted scales, bioluminescent accents, or deep abyssal shadow all sit naturally on this design.
A good match for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable aquatic predator for a coastal or underwater encounter
- Are running Saltmarsh, Stormwreck Isle, or any nautical campaign arc
- Want a fiend-touched creature that reads as dangerous from across the table
- Are building a display piece with strong narrative energy and dynamic pose
Encounter Hook: The fishing village of Brenmark has been losing boats — but not to storms. Each vessel returns empty, hull punctured from below, a single barbed spear left standing upright in the deck. The locals call it a warning. The Merrow calls it an invitation.
