This merfolk skirmisher cuts an imposing silhouette — her scaled lower body coiled low in a grounded combat stance, her upper body tensed with restrained aggression. She carries a long spear across her shoulders and grips it with purpose, one fist clenched at her side as if daring you to make the first move. Her crown of sharp fin-spikes and the jagged armoured pauldron on her shoulder mark her as no ordinary sea-dweller. This is a warrior who has held a coastline before, and intends to hold it again.

The sculpt rewards painters willing to take their time. The overlapping fish-scale texture on her tail offers tremendous depth when washed and drybrushed, while the spiked fin-crown and serrated pauldron beg for a contrasting colour scheme — something deep teal and bone, or the dark iridescence of a deep-sea predator. The flowing tail fin and webbed extremities add a natural elegance that balances the ferocity of her expression and stance. She reads equally well as a dangerous encounter on the table or as a centrepiece on a shelf dedicated to aquatic monsters and characters.
