Description

Every town has its hustlers — the ones who catch your eye in the market square, one hand raised in greeting and the other already reaching for your coin purse.

  • ✔ Multi-miniature bundle — multiple variations in one order
  • ✔ 32mm scale resin, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ All pieces supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Great value for building out encounter groups or display collections

This Merchant Bundle from Novaminis gives you two distinct sculpts — Merchant 01 and Merchant 02 — each with enough character to anchor a marketplace scene, a guild encounter, or a suspicious roadside transaction.

Merchant 01 is a lithe female trader caught mid-pitch: one arm raised high to flag down passers-by, the other extended with an open palm — inviting, disarming, and almost certainly distracting. She wears a close-fitted leather vest over a bare midriff, wide-legged trousers with stitched detailing running down the seams, and a headband holding back long braided hair. A battered satchel hangs at her hip, stuffed with who-knows-what. She looks like someone who has talked her way out of more scrapes than she has fought her way through. The four-angle render shows exceptional detail — the leather bag's stitching, the buckled belt, the braid texture — all crisp and clean at 32mm scale.

Merchant 02 is a stockier, rougher sort — a broad-shouldered man with a wide-brimmed travelling hat, a short goatee, and the bearing of someone who has been on the road far too long to be surprised by anything. He holds a small round object (an apple or a curious trinket) in one hand while raising the other in either greeting or haggling emphasis. His open-necked shirt, sturdy belt with a pouch, and laced trousers all speak to a life of constant travel and practical trade. He looks like he knows something about those missing horses.

Together these two figures work brilliantly as paired traders, rival merchants, or simply as the kind of lived-in NPCs that make a city feel genuinely populated. Both suit painting in warm earthy tones or brighter market-day colours.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Need well-detailed NPC merchants to populate city districts, market squares, or harbour towns
  • Run urban intrigue campaigns where not everyone who smiles at you can be trusted
  • Want varied, characterful townsfolk miniatures rather than generic filler figures
  • Collect display-quality sculpts of everyday folk as well as monsters and heroes

Encounter Hook: The party arrives in the trading district of a mid-sized city, looking for a fence to move some questionable goods. Two merchants flag them down simultaneously — a sharp-eyed woman in leather who claims to know exactly what they need, and a weathered road-trader who says he saw who they're looking for, and it'll only cost them a little. Both are lying. The question is which lie is worth listening to.

Details

This listing includes both Merchant 01 (female, open-armed pose with satchel) and Merchant 02 (male, wide-brimmed hat, holding a round object). Both are supplied at 32mm scale, unpainted and unprimed, based on the sculpts from Novaminis. Separate listings are available if you only need one of the two.
