This is Merchant 02 from Novaminis — the second sculpt in their merchant series, and where the first might have been the respectable sort, this fellow has a decidedly more weathered, itinerant character. He stands mid-stride with one arm raised in an animated greeting, the universal gesture of a man who needs you to stop walking and start listening. In his other hand he clutches a small round object — a piece of fruit, a suspicious orb, or a trinket freshly acquired from somewhere he'd rather not discuss.

His wide-brimmed traveller's hat is pushed back on his head, framing a bearded face full of charm and mild duplicity. His jacket is stitched leather with laced seams running down the arms and legs — well-worn but functional, the gear of someone who moves constantly and packs light. A wide belt cinches his waist, hung with a small pouch and a buckled fastening. The overall silhouette reads immediately as a wandering trader, fence, or information broker — the kind of NPC who always seems to know something useful, at a price.

The sculpt captures real personality in the pose. There's momentum to the stride, warmth in the raised hand, and a faint air of mischief in the way he holds his wares just out of clear view. He's a joy to paint, with the stitched leather, brimmed hat, and belt details offering excellent opportunities for ink washes and drybrushing.
