Mercenary (Julien) by Primal Collectibles
Description
He fights for coin, not causes — but the glint in his one good eye suggests he's quietly decided this job means something after all.

Julien cuts a striking figure on any tabletop: a battle-worn mercenary in a weathered tricorne hat, an eye-patch marking some past misadventure, and a flowing cloak that sweeps dramatically behind him as he lunges into the fight. His rapier is drawn and angled with practised precision, while a coin-purse and battered treasure chest beneath his boot make clear he knows exactly what he's fighting for. There's something of the roguish sellsword about him — part hired blade, part opportunist, entirely dangerous.
This sculpt is from the Uncharted Kingdoms: The Mighty Stone collection by Primal Collectibles and is available in three poses, each capturing a different beat of Julien's swaggering, blade-forward energy. Whether you want him lunging mid-duel, surveying the field with quiet menace, or planting a boot triumphantly on his prize, there's a version of Julien for every campaign moment. All three are built on the same beautifully detailed treasure-chest base, scattered with coins and a tied coin-sack.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Need a roguish mercenary NPC with a lived-in, morally ambiguous backstory
- Are running a campaign involving trade guilds, piracy, or hired swords
- Want a swashbuckler or rogue player character with real visual presence
- Collect characterful display pieces from independent fantasy sculpt studios
- Are building out a faction of sellswords or underworld contacts
Encounter Hook:
The party tracks their stolen cargo to a dockside warehouse — only to find Julien already inside, boot on the chest, rapier drawn, smiling at them like he's been expecting this. He didn't take the cargo. But he knows who did. And his information has a price.
Julien is scaled to 32mm and comes with his sculpted treasure-chest base as a separate piece, easily attached with a small amount of glue. The model is supplied unpainted and ready for priming. As with all our prints, supports are removed before dispatch; minor marks or imperfections are a natural part of the printing process and can be tidied up with fine sandpaper or a hobby knife before painting.
