Description

They say the jade shrines of the eastern provinces were not always stone — that Lian She walked among mortals once, and those who met her gaze were simply... preserved.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

Lian She is no western Gorgon of myth. She is something older, more regal, and far more dangerous. This collector's bust captures her in full ceremonial armour — layered pauldrons etched with eastern script, a carved breastplate worthy of a general's tomb, and a crown of serpentine spines radiating like a dark sun. Her face carries the cold authority of a creature that has outlasted every dynasty she has ever watched crumble. The ornate display plinth — carved with arched relief panels and interlocking border motifs — elevates her into a true gallery piece, as though she has always belonged behind glass in some forbidden archive.

From the An Eastern Journey collection by DM Stash, Lian She draws on East Asian mythological aesthetics to create a villain — or perhaps an antihero — that feels genuinely distinct from western fantasy archetypes. Whether you're building a campaign set in a jade empire, or simply want a centrepiece that will stop visitors in their tracks, this bust rewards every brushstroke.

Well-suited to adventurers who:

  • Paint display busts and want a subject with extraordinary facial and armour detail
  • Are building a collection of eastern fantasy or mythologically-inspired pieces
  • Need a visually commanding villain, patron, or cursed deity for a TTRPG campaign
  • Want a shelf centrepiece that doubles as narrative inspiration at the table

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a scholar who vanished inside the Jade Sepulchre — but when they arrive, they find him perfectly preserved mid-step, expression still caught in awe. At the far end of the hall, seated on a throne of her own making, Lian She turns slowly to regard them. She doesn't rise. She doesn't need to. She simply asks, in a voice like polished stone, whether they'd like to join her collection — or negotiate.

This is a collector's bust, scaled and designed for display painting rather than standard tabletop use. It comes mounted on a detailed ornamental plinth. Printed at high resolution for crisp detail across the armour engravings, facial features, and plinth relief work. Suitable as a display piece or as campaign inspiration — equally at home on a painter's shelf or a Dungeon Master's desk.
