Description

Somewhere beneath the earth, where torchlight fails and the drip of water echoes endlessly, the stone itself seems to reach upward — as though the dungeon is alive.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This cluster of medium stalagmites captures that subterranean stillness beautifully. Sculpted with layered, striated rock texture across each spire, the formation features five individual columns rising to different heights — the tallest stretching well above its companions, the shorter forms clustered at its base like a natural outcropping. It's the kind of terrain piece that makes a cave feel genuinely ancient: not just a backdrop, but a place with geology, with history, with the sense that something has been growing here long before any adventurer arrived.

Whether placed in a dripping Underdark passage, a collapsed underground temple, or a lair carved into living rock, this piece reads immediately as cave terrain without being generic. The variation in height across the spires gives it a natural, organic silhouette that holds up well on the tabletop and equally well on a display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Are building immersive cave, mine, or Underdark battle maps
  • Want scatter terrain that adds cover, elevation storytelling, and atmosphere
  • Are painting dioramas or display scenes set in underground environments
  • Need terrain that works straight out of the box or as a painting project

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking the duergar raiding party for two days when the tunnel opens into a wide cavern — floor bristling with stalagmites, ceiling lost in shadow. A crossbow bolt clips the wall. Someone is already in here, using the stone formations for cover, and they know this cavern far better than the adventurers do.

Scaled to 32mm. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. The piece comes as a single formation on an integrated base. Some minor surface variation is inherent to the process — any small imperfections are easily cleaned up before painting. Fully cured and support-free on arrival.
