Medium Snowy Tree by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
The forest had been silent for three days — nothing but the soft weight of snow bending the pine boughs, and the nagging feeling that something was watching from between the trees.
- ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
- ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
- ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama
This Medium Snowy Tree scatter piece from Mia Kay M3DM brings a wintry wilderness to life on your battle map. The sculpt features a full, layered pine tree with heavy snow clumped across each tier of branches — natural, unhurried, and rich with painted potential. Two sizes are included in this listing, giving you foreground and background depth for any woodland or tundra scene you're building.
Whether you're staging an ambush in a frost-bitten mountain pass, setting the scene for a Midwinter festival in a remote village, or building a snowy diorama for display, these trees do the environmental storytelling for you. They paint up beautifully with a simple wash-and-drybrush technique, but look characterful straight from the print too.
Well-suited to adventurers who:
- Are building immersive winter wilderness or tundra battle maps
- Need scatter terrain to add depth and cover to outdoor encounters
- Enjoy painting and basing projects with seasonal themes
- Collect display-quality terrain pieces alongside their miniature collection
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking the frost giant's raiding band for two days through the Spine of the World. As dusk falls, they spot firelight through a dense stand of snow-heavy pines — close enough to see the silhouettes, close enough to be seen if they're not careful. Who moves first?
Details
This listing includes two snowy pine trees in different sizes, both sculpted by Mia Kay M3DM. Both are scaled to 32mm. The model with the integrated base comes as a single piece; the model with the separate plain base can be attached with a small amount of glue. Both arrive ready for priming and painting, or display as-is. Supports are removed prior to dispatch — we quality check every piece, though minor surface marks inherent to the print process are possible and easy to tidy up.
