This is no ordinary gnoll. The Maw of Yeenoghu is a demonic engine of violence — a hulking, corrupted beast that serves as the living embodiment of its patron's bottomless appetite. Every part of this sculpt communicates that ferocity: the wide, multi-rowed maw gaping with rows of jagged teeth, the massive corded arms spread wide in a lunging charge, the bony dorsal spines erupting from its back, and the wild mane of fur and horn framing a face twisted in mid-roar. This creature isn't threatening the party — it's already committed to the attack.
Three different angles across the product images reveal just how much sculptural detail Monster Atlas have packed into this piece. The front-on view shows the full horror of that cavernous mouth and the reach of its clawed hands. The side profile exposes the powerfully hunched spine and the creature's low, predatory crouch. The three-quarter view brings together the snarling face, the asymmetric claws, and the explosive musculature into a single cohesive silhouette that reads brilliantly on the tabletop. Whether you're painting it as a demonic aberration in bruised purples and ash-grey or as a feral beast in tawny hide, this mini rewards the brush. It's equally at home as a display piece or a terrifying encounter centrepiece.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable boss-tier gnoll encounter to shake up their campaign
- Are running Descent into Avernus, Out of the Abyss, or any demon-touched wilderness arc
- Want a showpiece monster that reads as genuinely threatening at 32mm scale
- Collect demon-kin and fiendish creatures for display or painting projects
Encounter Hook:
The village elder swears the creature came three nights ago — not with the pack, but ahead of it, alone, sniffing at the threshold of the temple before tearing the doors from their hinges. By the time the party arrives, the shrine is gutted and a trail of claw marks leads north into the dead forest. The pack will be close behind. The Maw is already hunting them.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces — attach with superglue. Some models interact with their decorative base, so we recommend using it for the best overall look. Printed at high resolution; supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks are possible and easily tidied with light sanding.
