Masked Plague Doctor by Great Grimoire
Description
She doesn't cure the sick — she catalogues them, studies them, and occasionally decides which ones are more useful to her work than to the world.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This plague doctor cuts a striking figure: a long coat swept open at the hip, a beak mask and wide-brimmed hat that speak of old contagions and colder methods, and one arm raised aloft brandishing a crowned skull — a trophy, a warning, or perhaps a power source. A dagger rests ready at her belt, and beneath her boot a skeletal hand claws from the lid of a treasure chest, as if something inside refuses to stay dead. This is not a healer. This is a collector of mysteries.
Whether you cast her as a morally ambiguous quest-giver, a Ravenloft-worthy villain, a Rogue or Arcane Trickster player character with a taste for the theatrical, or a feared faction leader in a city gripped by plague, this sculpt carries the weight of a character with a history and an agenda. She works equally well on the tabletop and on a display shelf.
A good fit for adventurers who:
- Need a distinctive plague doctor NPC or villain for a dark fantasy campaign
- Are playing a morally grey Rogue, Warlock, or Wizard with a theatrical edge
- Want a centrepiece character for a Ravenloft, urban gothic, or plague-themed arc
- Collect detailed character sculpts from independent fantasy artists
Encounter Hook:
The party finds the town's beloved physician dead in her surgery — replaced, seamlessly, by a stranger in a beak mask who insists she has always been here. The new doctor's cures work. Her patients live. But they all come back changed, and the crowned skull she keeps on her desk has started whispering names.
