Martha by Great Grimoire

She's hauled water from the well every morning for forty years, and she's heard every whispered rumour this town has ever kept — whether she tells you is another matter entirely.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Martha is part of the Great Grimoire "Great Folks" range — common people with uncommon tales. Sculpted with remarkable character, she carries a wooden shoulder yoke hung with two heavy buckets, her layered skirts and shawl catching in the stride of a woman who has never once stopped moving. The expression on her weathered face says she's seen adventurers come and go, and she has strong opinions about most of them. Every fold of her clothing and the precise weight suggested by her posture speak to a sculptor who understands that the best NPCs live in the details.

Whether she's the innkeeper's aunt, the village herbalist's supplier, or the only person in town who noticed the cloaked figure asking odd questions — Martha brings immediate life to any settlement encounter. She's equally at home as a display piece on a shelf of painted character studies.

Especially well-suited for adventurers who:

• Need richly detailed townsfolk and civilian NPCs for village or town encounters
• Want to populate market squares, well-sides, or tavern exteriors with believable characters
• Are building a living-world campaign where the common folk feel as real as the monsters
• Paint character-driven miniatures for display or diorama projects

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in Millhaven to find the well has run dry for three days — but Martha is still making her morning rounds, buckets full, saying nothing. When the rogue follows her, she doesn't go to the well at all. She goes to the old mill at the edge of the forest, where the water runs cold and clear and something beneath the surface catches the light in a way running water shouldn't.
