Marigold is a deceptively gentle figure from Great Grimoire's Great Folks II collection. Sculpted with remarkable care, she wears a flowing, rope-belted dress and a floral wreath woven through long, cascading hair — the picture of a rural villager or woodland wanderer. But there's an unsettling quality to her pose: one hand outstretched, bare feet stepping forward, bouquet gripped just a little too tightly. She's the kind of character that keeps your players second-guessing themselves.
Whether she's a herbalist with dangerous knowledge, a druid's devotee, a cursed bride wandering the Feywild's edges, or simply the most important person in a small village, Marigold brings quiet, layered characterisation to your table. The sculpt rewards a careful painter — the flowing fabric, braided hair detail, and individual flower heads in the bouquet all hold paint beautifully.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a memorable named NPC with an air of mystery or hidden depth
- Are running Feywild-adjacent, rural, or nature-themed campaigns
- Want a quest-giver, village elder's daughter, or unsettling encounter focal point
- Collect characterful civilian sculpts for display or diorama work
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in the village of Ashwick to find it draped in marigolds — hung from every door, woven into every fence. At the well stands a woman in a flower crown, smiling warmly, offering each traveller a bloom. The innkeeper catches your eye across the square and gives a single, almost imperceptible shake of the head.

What's included:
Marigold is printed at 35mm scale (slightly larger than standard 32mm — contact us if you'd like a different scale and we'll do our best to accommodate). A plain black base is included as standard. A decorative base option is also available — if selected, please send us a note specifying which of the three base styles you'd prefer. The base ships separately and can be attached with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed prior to dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process are possible and can be cleaned up easily. All pieces are fully cured before they leave us.
