Marie is a half-elf ranger in the thick of a hunt already won. Crossbow drawn and reloaded with practised ease, she plants one boot on the fallen goblin beneath her — a detail that speaks volumes about her experience in the field. Her outfit layers practical travelling gear with subtle armoured elements: a long split coat, strapped bracers, thigh pouches, and knee-high boots, all sculpted with the kind of specificity that rewards close painting. The wrapped headscarf and pointed ears give her a distinct identity that sits comfortably in desert borderlands, frontier towns, or deep wilderness campaigns. The base scene is part of the sculpt — the defeated goblin, bristling with arrows, grounds her firmly in a moment of decisive action.
This is a character with history behind her eyes. Whether she's a player character returning from a solo contract, a renowned NPC monster-hunter the party has heard whispers of, or a rival whose methods the heroes quietly envy, Marie carries narrative weight the moment she hits the table.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Play rangers, scouts, or bounty hunters and want a mini with real presence
- Need a compelling named NPC — a hunter-for-hire, frontier guide, or faction agent
- Want a display piece that tells a story without needing a painted backdrop
- Are building encounter scenarios involving goblin skirmishes, border territories, or wilderness missions
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the village to find the goblin raiding party already dealt with — bodies arranged in a neat line outside the gates, each one with a single crossbow bolt. The only witness is a half-elf woman cleaning her crossbow at the tavern bar, who looks up slowly and says: "I heard there was a reward."
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale and well-suited for both tabletop gaming and display collecting. The miniature arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush. Some minor clean-up may be needed as part of the normal printing process — this is easily managed before priming.
