- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs

Maria is one of those NPCs who quietly becomes unforgettable. Dressed in a layered skirt, shawl, and a wide-brimmed hat, she holds a bloom in each hand and wears a broad, warm grin that could charm the coin from a miser's purse. There's a lived-in quality to this sculpt — crow's feet, curling hair, and an expression that suggests Maria has seen a great deal and forgotten very little. The optional flower cart, heaped with blooms and bundled goods, turns a character piece into a full market scene on your battlemat.
Part of the Great Folks collection by Great Grimoire — common people with uncommon tales — Maria captures the kind of NPC that players genuinely remember. She's equally at home in a sprawling city market, a village festival, or a shadowy back alley where the best intelligence is sold by the bunch.
Brilliant for adventurers who:
- Want a named, characterful quest-giver or town contact
- Are building a market district, festival, or urban encounter
- Need a friendly face that hides a secrets-broker or guild informant
- Collect civilian and commoner miniatures for immersive worldbuilding
- Want a display piece that tells a story without a single weapon in sight
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in Goldenharbour the morning after a merchant prince is found dead — and Maria, cheerful as ever at her usual corner, is the only witness who was there all night. She'll talk, she says, but only once the party has bought every last rose. She needs the coin more than she needs the trouble.
