Marcus 'Hog' is one of those NPCs that stops a table dead in its tracks. Stocky, slow-moving, and wearing a grotesque pig's head above his broad, button-strained shirt, he looks almost comical — right up until you notice the long butcher's knives hanging at his sides. The sculpt captures that unsettling blend of the mundane and the monstrous: thick belt, rough workman's clothing, and a curling pig tail, all rendered with a level of character detail that makes him feel like he wandered out of a very dark fairy tale.
This is a character built for horror-tinged campaigns, rural gothic encounters, and the kind of villain your players will talk about long after the session ends. Whether you run him as a cursed soul, a cult enforcer, or something far worse lurking on the edge of a village, Marcus Hog brings a genuinely unsettling presence to the table. He works equally well as a display piece — the front-facing sculpt with that wide, leering porcine grin is a collector's highlight in its own right.
Perfect for adventurers who:- Run horror-themed or dark fairy tale TTRPG campaigns
- Need a memorable, characterful villain or enforcer NPC
- Want a display-worthy centrepiece with real narrative menace
- Are building a rural gothic or folk horror encounter
Encounter Hook:
The party follows a missing merchant's trail to a remote farm. The gate is open. The pigs are unusually quiet. And standing in the doorway, wiping a long knife slowly on his apron, is a heavyset figure in a pig-mask — who seems entirely unsurprised to see them. On the table inside: the merchant's satchel, unopened.
