The maralith is one of the most tactically lethal fiends in the Abyss — a six-armed, serpent-bodied demon general who wields a blade in every hand and uses all of them at once. This sculpt by MZ4250 captures that terrifying duality: a humanoid upper body mid-roar, horned and snarling, arms fanned wide with swords extended in a wheel of steel, and a thick scaled serpent tail coiling beneath her. The pose radiates kinetic aggression — this is not a creature standing still, this is a creature about to close the distance.
The detail across the sculpt rewards a painter's attention. Each of the six arms is individually posed, swords angled at different heights and vectors to suggest mid-combination attack. The scales of her serpent body are deeply textured, her face fierce and expressive beneath a crown of sharp horns, and her torso has the leathery, armoured quality befitting a demon who has survived countless Abyssal wars. She is supplied as a multipart kit, with both supported and unsupported variants included so you can choose whichever suits your preferred printing workflow.
Equally compelling on the gaming table during a climactic boss encounter and on the display shelf as a centrepiece painting project — this is the kind of miniature that earns its place in a collection.
This miniature is well suited to adventurers who:
- Need a powerful demon general to anchor an Abyssal or planar campaign arc
- Are painting a fiend collection and want their maralith to hold its own as a showpiece
- Run high-level encounters and want a creature whose sculpt matches her stat block's ferocity
- Enjoy technically rewarding miniatures — the multi-arm arrangement makes for a satisfying challenge
Encounter Hook
The party has tracked the source of a series of portal disruptions to a ruined temple on the edge of a blighted plain. Inside, surrounded by a retinue of slain celestials and a circle of rune-carved stone, a maralith general stands with all six blades drawn — she has been expecting them, and she is disappointed it took this long.
