Description
Something vast and silent detaches from the cavern ceiling — not a bat, not a ray, but something older and hungrier than either.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Manta Cave Bat is a creature born where deep underground waterways meet lightless stone — part leviathan, part predator, entirely unsettling. This sculpt by Mia Kay captures it mid-emergence, its great membranous wings billowing outward like a cloak caught in an updraft, its sinuous tail coiling down through fractured rock. The dynamic pose gives it an almost spectral quality — less a beast crashing in, more a presence materialising from the darkness itself.
For Dungeon Masters, this mini brings genuine visual weight to cave systems, flooded dungeons, and Underdark passages. It sits as comfortably on a display shelf as it does on a battle map, and its fluid silhouette makes it one of those pieces that draws the eye from across the room — painted or bare.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run cave-based encounters, flooded dungeon levels, or Underdark expeditions
- Want a visually distinctive beast that reads as dangerous from across the table
- Are building a collection of rare and characterful creature miniatures
- Enjoy painting dynamic, fabric-and-flesh sculpts with dramatic detail
Encounter Hook:
The party are crossing a subterranean lake by coracle when the water beneath them begins to stir — something enormous is rising from below, wings fanning silt clouds in the dark, and it is already between them and the far shore.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model on the detailed base comes pre-attached as a single piece. The model on a plain base is supplied with the base separate, ready to be affixed with a drop of glue. Some minor imperfections may occur as part of the printing process — small marks or support remnants can be easily tidied up before priming. Every piece is fully cured and ready for paint.
