Description

They said no goblin could ever build a weapon that size — Brains took that as a challenge, a blueprint, and a personal insult all at once.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

From the Cogs of Revolution collection by DM Stash, Brains is no ordinary goblin grunt. Crowned with a battered top hat and goggle-adorned brim, this manic inventor strides forward with one foot raised on a cannonball, a massive shoulder-mounted cannon hoisted aloft with gleeful recklessness. His chainmail-clad torso is festooned with pouches, grenades, and a skull-buckled weapons belt, while a spiked club swings at his side for when the big gun just isn't personal enough. The sculpt captures every maddened detail — the wide grin, the coiled rope accessories, the debris-strewn cobblestone base — making him as much a character as a miniature.

Whether you need a flamboyant goblin artificer running a black-market arms operation beneath the city, a recurring villain who keeps escaping thanks to increasingly unhinged contraptions, or simply a centrepiece NPC who instantly tells players they're in trouble, Brains delivers the presence. He works equally well as a painted display piece — the layered detail across his cannon, belt fittings, and kilt-like leather skirt rewards careful brushwork beautifully.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable goblin NPC or recurring villain with genuine personality
  • Are running steampunk, artificer-themed, or Cogs of Revolution campaigns
  • Want a goblin boss encounter that's more than a straightforward skirmish
  • Love painting ambitious character minis with rich surface detail
  • Collect inventive humanoid sculpts for display as well as gaming

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks a series of warehouse explosions across the merchant quarter — each blast more precise than the last. The culprit is Brains, who has been systematically field-testing a shoulder cannon he insists is "basically finished," and who will absolutely not stop firing it just because some adventurers have arrived with swords.

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and its detailed scenic base are separate pieces, easily joined with superglue — and the base is very much worth attaching, as Brains' raised foot interacts directly with the cannonball on it. Supplied unpainted and ready to prime. Minor imperfections from the printing process are possible; any residual marks are easily tidied up before painting.
