Manes are the lowest rung of demonkind — the wretched remnants of mortal souls condemned to an eternity of mindless, ravenous existence in the Abyss. Novaminis' Vaporspawn interpretation pushes that concept into something genuinely unsettling: this is not a squat, shuffling grunt but a lanky, lurching horror with a grotesque elegance to it. Jutting tendrils erupt from its skull like a crown of broken antennae, its jaw gapes in a perpetual silent shriek, and its hands — too many-fingered, too long — reach forward with a hunger that seems almost involuntary. The warped, pustule-scattered skin and distorted proportions suggest something that was perhaps once humanoid, now fundamentally unmade.

This is the second sculpt in the Vaporspawn series, distinguished by its forward-leaning, reaching pose — arms outstretched and head thrown back mid-howl, giving it a frenzied, charging energy that differs markedly from the first variant. If you are building out a wave of abyssal chaff or populating a portal chamber with demonic fodder, this pose reads beautifully at a distance and rewards close inspection equally well.
