Description
The city watch parts like water before him — because when the Captain draws his blade, questions come later.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This miniature captures a weathered, authoritative guard captain mid-advance: sword arm fully extended in a commanding point, kite shield braced at his side, and a quiver of arrows at his back hinting at a man who prepares for every contingency. His long travel cloak billows behind him, belted coat and layered gear speaking to years on campaign rather than idle gate duty. The set jaw and forward gaze tell you everything — this is someone who has handled trouble before, and expects to again.
Sculpted by MZ4250 and printed here at 32mm scale, the detail in the buckled cross-straps, the grip on that longsword, and the texture of the cloak make this a miniature that rewards careful painting and holds up beautifully as a display piece even straight off the base.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Need a named city watch captain as a recurring ally, rival, or antagonist
- Want a compelling Fighter or Ranger PC with a military background
- Are running urban campaigns, city-state intrigue, or castle-based encounters
- Enjoy display collecting alongside gaming use
Encounter Hook:
The party hears heavy boots on cobblestones before they see him — Captain Harvel Dune, sword already drawn, flanked by six nervous guardsmen. He points the blade directly at the paladin. "I know what you took from the merchant's vault. You've got until I count to ten to convince me you had a reason." The party has, in fact, taken nothing. Someone has gone to considerable trouble to make it look otherwise.
