This is pose 02 of our Male Egyptian Soldier range by Galaad Miniatures, and it brings a distinctly ancient-world flavour to the tabletop. The figure wears layered scale armour over a wrapped linen tunic, with banded vambraces and leg wraps that speak to a military culture steeped in discipline and ritual. A blank ceremonial mask conceals his face, making him equally convincing as a faceless palace guard, a cult enforcer, or a construct-like guardian of a long-sealed tomb. In his right hand he carries a long hooked polearm — a weapon suited to pulling riders from mounts or dragging foes from behind cover — while his left arm bears a large riveted tower shield with a central boss. It is a composed, watchful stance: not aggressive, but unmistakably dangerous.

Whether you are running a desert campaign, a tomb-raiding arc, a faction of masked soldiers loyal to a forgotten god, or simply building a visually cohesive guard unit for a throne room encounter, this sculpt carries real character. It paints up beautifully in weathered bronze, sun-bleached linen, and aged leather — or goes straight onto the table unpainted for those who prefer their mysteries grey and anonymous.

Well-suited to adventurers who:

  • Need historically-flavoured soldiers or palace guards for ancient-world campaigns
  • Are building a masked cult or temple faction with a unified visual identity
  • Want a distinctive NPC or named enemy to anchor a tomb or desert dungeon encounter
  • Collect display miniatures with a strong cultural and aesthetic identity
  • Are running Spelljammer, Al-Qadim-inspired, or homebrew Egyptian-setting games

Encounter Hook:
The party enters the Hall of Sealing — a chamber they were told has been undisturbed for three centuries. Five of these soldiers stand in alcoves along the walls, motionless, shields forward. As the rogue reaches for the central sarcophagus, the nearest one turns its masked face toward her. It hasn't moved an inch. But it is definitely looking at her now.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and its decorative base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with a small amount of super glue — the sculpt is designed to interact with the base, so we recommend using it as intended. Each miniature is quality-checked before dispatch; while we take care to remove all supports, minor marks are an occasional reality of the printing process and can be cleaned up easily before priming.
