Zelafel is a male dryad of unmistakable presence — a spirit formed not of soft leaves and dappled light, but of splintered heartwood, jagged splinters, and the slow violence of a tree splitting from within. His elongated form is clad in overlapping plates of bark-like armour, fringed with blade-edged leaves, and he carries a thorned staff tipped with a writhing growth of green — equal parts walking staff and weapon of war. His base erupts in a dramatic fan of shattered timber, as though the forest floor itself is heaving upward at his command.
This sculpt lends itself equally well to a corrupted guardian of a dying woodland, a neutral Feywild power broker with his own agenda, or a fully fledged player character — a nature warlock, druid, or even a homebrew fey knight with a history rooted in bark and blood. Zelafel is as much at home on a display shelf as he is towering over the battlemap when the party makes the catastrophic decision to start a fire in his grove.

Encounter Hook:
The party's ranger notices the treeline has shifted — the path they entered by no longer exists. Then a figure steps from the bark of the largest oak: seven feet of living timber, thorned staff levelled, a voice like a snapping branch asking how many trees they felled to build their last campfire.
Zelafel is printed at 32mm scale. The model and its sculpted base are provided as separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — note that the figure interacts with the base in a way that genuinely rewards keeping them together. Printed in high-detail resin, supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks are occasionally possible and easily tidied with a fine file before priming.
