From DM Stash's Shadow Over Nordheim collection, this is Hel, the Maiden of Death — a divine figure drawn from Norse myth and given terrifying form. She stands tall in cracked bone armour adorned with feather-work pauldrons, her long robes trailing over a base littered with skulls and curved horn-like talons. One hand holds a human skull aloft with quiet menace, whilst the other raises a towering staff crowned with a death's-head scythe blade. Her own horned headdress and flowing hair complete the portrait of a goddess who does not merely preside over death — she owns it.
The sculpt is rich with surface detail: the cracked plating across her torso, the individual feathers at her shoulders, the wrapped grip of the staff, and the intricately carved base all reward careful painting. Whether you put her on the table as a deity encounter, a lich-touched NPC, or a Cleric patron made flesh, she carries the weight of the role from every angle. Equally at home as a display centrepiece on a collector's shelf.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Need a death deity, divine villain, or goddess-level boss for a Norse or dark fantasy campaign
- Are running a Cleric or Warlock with a death domain patron and want a showstopping figure to represent them
- Want a commanding centrepiece for a necromancy-themed encounter or underworld arc
- Collect display-quality character minis from mythology-inspired fantasy settings
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tasked with retrieving a soul from Niflheim — but when they arrive at the gates, Hel is waiting. She already knows why they have come. She is holding the skull of the soul they seek, turning it slowly in her fingers, and she has not yet decided whether to be entertained or offended. The negotiations begin now.
Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and decorative base are separate pieces designed to be attached with superglue — the base interacts with the model's pose and the two are designed to be displayed together. Printed to a high level of detail; support marks may occasionally be present and are easily cleaned up before priming.
