This is Magmin variation 1 from MZ4250's 2025 Monster Manual series — a crouching, predatory elemental creature mid-lunge, arms spread wide with long raking claws extended on both hands. Its hollow eyes burn with eldritch green light, and its wide jagged maw is stretched into something between a leer and a snarl. Most striking of all is the crown of wild green flame erupting from the top of its skull, sculpted with real dynamism — the fire whips upward as if caught mid-gust. The pose is tense and feral, knees bent and weight forward, ready to spring at whatever unfortunate adventurer has wandered too close to a volcanic vent.
The surface texture throughout is wonderfully rough and rocky — skin like cooled magma, deeply creviced and irregular — which will reward drybrushing beautifully. Whether you want to go with the classic orange-and-red fire treatment or lean into the green wildfire aesthetic shown in the render, this sculpt gives painters a tremendous amount to work with.
This miniature works brilliantly both as a battlefield encounter piece and as a display collector's item — the flame element in particular makes it a natural centrepiece on any elemental-themed shelf.

Encounter Hook: The party descends into the Ashvein Caldera in pursuit of a stolen fire gem. As they reach the magma shelf, three Magmin drop from the ceiling — and one of them is noticeably larger, its flame burning a sickly, toxic green. The druid rolls Arcana and realises this one has been touched by something far worse than fire.
