Description

He does not cast spells so much as tear them from the fabric of the world — and his expression suggests he has been doing so for a very, very long time.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

Zephyrus is a mage who has long since left subtlety behind. This display bust from Primal Collectibles' Uncharted Kingdoms: The Shining Flow collection captures him at the apex of a conjuration — one gnarled hand thrust skyward, fingers splayed and grasping, the other gripping a twisted wooden staff carved with serpentine detail. His robes are layered and ceremonial, edged with intricate scrollwork, and fastened with a heavy arcane medallion at the chest. His face is the real centrepiece: deeply lined, wild-haired, and wearing an expression that sits somewhere between ecstatic rapture and barely contained menace.

The sculpt is rendered as a collector's bust on a broad decorative plinth — designed to be displayed, studied, and painted rather than fielded on a battlemap. Every surface rewards close attention: the cloth folds drape with genuine weight, the staff's organic grain twists convincingly, and the face carries the kind of character that takes a sculptor considerable skill to achieve at any scale. Whether you're a miniature painter looking for a display centrepiece or a Dungeon Master seeking visual inspiration for a campaign's most dangerous arcane mind, Zephyrus commands the shelf.

A fine choice for adventurers who:

  • Paint display busts and want a face and figure with genuine expressive depth
  • Collect fantasy busts from independent sculptors
  • Need a visual reference or NPC portrait for a powerful, morally ambiguous wizard
  • Are building a Uncharted Kingdoms collection and want the full range
  • Play or run campaigns featuring archmages, cult leaders, or ancient practitioners of forbidden magic

Encounter Hook: The party has been hired to recover a stolen relic from an isolated tower. When they finally reach its uppermost chamber, they find Zephyrus mid-ritual — eyes closed, arms raised, utterly absorbed. He doesn't turn to face them. He simply says, "I wondered when the Arcane Council would send someone. I expected more of them." Then he opens his eyes.

Details

What's included: One Zephyrus bust, printed at display scale on a decorative circular plinth. This is a collector's bust rather than a standard 32mm tabletop miniature — the scale is considerably larger, designed to showcase sculpted detail and serve as a painting showpiece. Supplied unpainted and unassembled if applicable. Supports removed; minor clean-up may occasionally be required on complex surfaces.
