Description

He turned his back on the Harpers and the gods both, convinced that dead dragons would inherit Faerûn — and he came terrifyingly close to being right.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Sammaster First-Speaker is one of the Forgotten Realms' most consequential villains — a former Chosen of Mystra who descended into obsession, madness, and necromantic heresy to found the Cult of the Dragon. This sculpt captures him in a pose that speaks to that duality: robes billowing, one hand extended with a sorcerer's casual menace, his expression calculating and cold. Long hair swept back, a close-trimmed beard, and a circular medallion at his chest — this is a man who still looks like a scholar, even as he reaches for something deeply dangerous.

For Dungeon Masters running Forgotten Realms campaigns, Dragonlance-adjacent lore, or any story where a fallen archmage has become the architect of civilisation's unravelling, this mini delivers immediate presence on the table. As a collector's piece, the flowing robes and the commanding, open-handed gesture make it a compelling display figure — painted or unpainted.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a high-level arcane villain or cult leader for their campaign
  • Are running Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, or homebrew lore-heavy adventures
  • Want a morally complex NPC who was once a hero — and fell far
  • Collect display-worthy fantasy miniatures of iconic lore characters

Encounter Hook:
The party discovers a hidden scriptorium beneath a ruined Harper safehouse. The shelves are thick with dust — except for one tome, recently opened. As they reach for it, a figure steps from the shadows: Sammaster himself, not dead after all, dressed in scholar's robes and wearing the expression of a man who has already decided how this meeting ends. He wants something from them. He will not ask twice.

Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base arrives unattached and can be glued in place. The mini arrives ready to prime and paint, or use straight from the box as an unpainted display or gaming piece. We quality-check every figure, though minor marks from support removal are a natural part of the process and can be easily tidied up.
