Description

In the Nine Hells, the Maelephant serves not as a soldier but as an instrument of irresistible force — a tusked, spiked engine of infernal will dispatched when contracts must be enforced and debtors must be collected.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Maelephant is one of the more unsettling entries in the infernal hierarchy — not because of cunning or sorcery, but because of its sheer, grinding inevitability. Its crown of bone-like spikes rises from a skull that seems almost elephantine, framed by writhing tendril-like appendages that curl around its head like a grotesque halo. One hand grips a heavy, finned polearm; the other reaches outward with clawed fingers splayed — a gesture that might be beckoning or threatening, and is probably both. The armoured, hide-thick torso speaks to something that has endured considerable punishment and considers this unremarkable.

This sculpt by Monster Atlas captures every textural detail: the ridged, leathery skin, the layered bony protrusions, the tusk-cluster maw, and that wide, heavy stance that suggests the creature is in no particular hurry because it already knows how this ends. Whether you're running a Descent into Avernus campaign, a warlock storyline built around infernal obligation, or simply want a genuinely imposing fiend on your display shelf, this miniature delivers the presence the encounter demands.

Well suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a large, distinctive fiend for D&D 5e or other TTRPG encounters
  • Are running infernal or devil-themed campaigns and want a memorable enforcer
  • Want a showpiece miniature for painting — the skin texture and bony details reward every brush stroke
  • Collect fantasy creature miniatures for display alongside other fiends and monsters

Encounter Hook:
The party's warlock signed something three levels ago — something they didn't read carefully. Tonight, a Maelephant arrives at the inn door, polearm across its shoulders, one clawed hand holding a copy of the contract. It doesn't speak. It simply waits. Payment, it seems, is now due in full.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The miniature and base are supplied as separate pieces and can be attached with superglue — the sculpt is designed to sit naturally on its base. Some models interact with their decorative base in ways that reward using it, so we'd encourage doing so. Each piece is quality-checked before despatch, though minor marks from the printing process are a normal part of production and are easily tidied up before priming.
