Description

The pressure gauge on his back ticks past the red line, sparks crawl across his mechanical gauntlet, and he smiles like a man who has never once considered the consequences of his work.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the kind of NPC that derails a campaign in the best possible way. Part artificer, part eccentric genius, this figure captures the volatile energy of a scientist who long ago stopped asking "should I?" in favour of "but what if I did?" His oversized boiler-tank backpack — complete with tubing, vents, and a flexible overhead nozzle arm — dominates his silhouette, while his mechanical eye implant and reinforced gauntlet suggest someone who has been conducting experiments on themselves for some time. His expression is focused and slightly unhinged, hunched forward as he tends to some device cradled in his hands. The base is richly detailed with industrial pipe fittings and gear elements, grounding him firmly in a steampunk or Eberron-adjacent world.

Whether he's the brilliant artificer the party reluctantly works with, the recurring villain whose contraptions keep exploding at the wrong moment, or a questgiver whose reward is entirely in the form of "valuable test data", this miniature brings serious character to the table. He's equally at home on a display shelf for collectors who appreciate the craft of a deeply characterful sculpt.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run Eberron, steampunk, or arcane-industrial campaigns
  • Need a memorable Artificer NPC, rival inventor, or unhinged questgiver
  • Want a Wizard or Artificer player character with a truly distinctive look
  • Collect character-driven miniatures with rich detail and personality

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the ruined clocktower to find Professor Veldrik Ossian mid-experiment — he doesn't look up from the device in his hands, but the pressure tank on his back is screaming and the floor is vibrating. He has forty seconds before something goes very wrong, and he'd like the adventurers to hold something for him while he finishes.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The detailed industrial base is included. This miniature arrives cleaned of supports and ready for priming and painting, though it looks characterful straight from the box too. Minor surface marks can occasionally occur during the printing process and are easily addressed with fine sandpaper or a hobby knife.
