Description

The forest falls silent before it arrives — a towering shape rising on hind legs, a great axe in one clawed paw, its bear's eyes burning with cursed intelligence.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This werebear miniature from MZ4250 captures the creature mid-stance: upright, confident, and terrifying. The sculpt shows dense layered fur across a powerful frame, with the beast gripping a large double-headed axe at its side — poised to swing rather than already mid-strike, which gives the piece a menacing, deliberate quality. A bandolier strap crosses the chest, hinting at a creature that exists somewhere between wild animal and hardened warrior. The round base keeps it game-ready straight out of the box.

Whether you're running a lycanthrope-themed arc in a dark forest campaign, populating a druid's circle gone feral, or building a display shelf of shapeshifters and cursed creatures, this sculpt brings serious presence to the table. It works equally well as a fearsome boss encounter or a tragic NPC mid-transformation.

Brilliant for adventurers who:

  • Are running lycanthrope storylines or wilderness horror campaigns
  • Need a werebear boss or cursed guardian for a forest encounter
  • Want a centrepiece mini that rewards careful painting — the fur texture holds washes and drybrushing beautifully
  • Collect shapeshifter and monster minis for display

Encounter Hook:
The logging camp at the edge of the Ashwood has gone dark. Three workers are missing, the tree line is scarred with enormous claw marks, and the camp foreman refuses to sleep indoors — claiming something watches from the treeline every night. When the party investigates, they find the foreman mid-change, axe already in hand, and a choice to make before moonrise.
