- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Wereboar is a lycanthrope that hits differently to its wolf-kin cousins. Where werewolves lean into pack tactics and horror, the wereboar is a solitary, stubborn force of nature — all muscle, bristle, and barely contained aggression. This sculpt from MZ4250 captures that duality superbly: the figure stands in a wide, grounded stance, a recurve bow slung across one shoulder with a full quiver of arrows at his back, a curved blade in one hand and a second weapon trailing at his side. His feline-tusked face and broad frame read instantly as a creature that has survived too much to be frightened of anything the party might throw at him. A flowing cloak frames the silhouette, and the detail in the fur, musculature, and equipment strapping rewards painters with plenty of texture to work with.
Whether you're running him as a cursed ranger haunting a forest road, a reluctant ally with a monthly problem, or a shapeshifting enforcer for a thieves' guild, the pose carries real presence at the table — and equal weight on a display shelf.
A good fit for adventurers who:
- Need a lycanthrope with genuine visual identity beyond a wolf
- Are building a wilderness, Ravenloft, or horror-themed campaign
- Want a wereboar that works as both a savage monster and a complex NPC
- Love painting miniatures with rich surface detail and dynamic silhouettes
- Are collectors seeking character-driven sculpts for their display case
Encounter Hook:
The party tracks a series of brutal ambushes along the King's Road — caravans overturned, guards scattered, no survivors. When they finally corner the culprit, they find not a beast but a former soldier, arrow nocked and blade drawn, his voice steady even as his knuckles bristle with coarse fur: "Turn around. I won't ask twice."
Supplied as a single piece attached to a flat base, scaled to 32mm. The miniature arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight from the box. Each piece is individually quality checked before dispatch.
