The Lunar Bat Fiend is not a creature that lurks — it erupts. This sculpt captures the monster at the apex of its lunge: one clawed arm driving forward, the other raking wide, leathery wings flung open to their full span, and a maw lined with brutal interlocking teeth stretched in a predatory snarl. Dorsal spines bristle along the neck and back, the barbed tail whips out behind it, and raptor-like taloned feet ground the pose with savage, forward momentum. Every surface reads as biology gone wrong — veined wing membranes, elongated limbs, hollow eyes above that terrible bite.
On the table it reads unmistakeably as a large, fast, dangerous thing. Paint the wings in translucent purples and greys to suggest the membrane letting moonlight through, add deep shadows into the jaw and eye sockets, and pick out the spines and claws in sickly bone to make this creature genuinely unsettling under any light source. The generous 51mm oval base gives it the commanding footprint a large creature deserves.
