Description

The candelabra casts her shadow true — but the reflection in the mirror is something else entirely.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Lucy is no ordinary housemaid. Sculpted with extraordinary period detail — frilled apron, buttoned bodice, braided hair pinned beneath a mop cap — she carries her candelabra with the composed grace of someone who has learned to seem ordinary. But something about her reflection doesn't quite match. The ornate standing mirror she faces is the centrepiece of this sculpt, its baroque scrollwork frame dripping with gothic grandeur, and what stares back from the glass tells a different story to the figure holding the light. Whether Lucy is a cursed spirit trapped between worlds, a doppelganger wearing a servant's skin, or the last echo of a woman long dead, that detail is yours to decide.

This set arrives as two pieces — Lucy herself and the ornate mirror — designed to be displayed together as a scene. The mirror reflection is subtly distinct from the standing figure, giving DMs a wealth of narrative options: illusion magic, a haunted manor's dark secret, or a puzzle encounter built around what is real and what is not. Equally at home in a Ravenloft-inspired campaign or a gothic mystery one-shot, Lucy is just as compelling on a display shelf as she is on the table.

A fine addition for adventurers who:

  • Run gothic horror, haunted manor, or Ravenloft-style campaigns
  • Need an NPC that carries genuine mystery and menace beneath a composed exterior
  • Want a centrepiece encounter piece that doubles as display-worthy scenery
  • Love painting character studies with rich period costume detail

Encounter Hook:
The party are hired to investigate the abandoned Vellacourt estate — no guests have left alive since the new maid arrived. When they find her polishing silver in the east wing, candelabra in hand, she greets them with perfect composure. It is only when one of the adventurers glances at the tall mirror behind her that they notice: Lucy's reflection is already looking directly at them, and has been since before they entered the room.

The cats rolled Arcana to understand why humans spend so much time on tiny figures. They failed the check. They stayed anyway.
