Lord of the Grove Soldier 04 by Witchsong Miniatures
Description
He emerged from the treeline without a sound — horned, cloaked, and holding a barbed spear across his chest like a challenge no one had yet dared to answer.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is pose 04 of the Lord of the Grove Soldier range by Witchsong Miniatures — a towering fey warrior sculpted in a wide, commanding stance that radiates barely-contained aggression. His rack of curved horns and reptilian features mark him as something older than the forest itself, and his segmented armour — part chitin, part hide, part something the party won't be able to identify — speaks to a culture that has been warring long before the players arrived. A billowing cloak sweeps behind him, and the double-ended barbed spear he carries diagonally across his body is poised somewhere between threat and ritual.
Whether you're running a Feywild campaign, building out the court of a dark archfey, or introducing an elite soldier class within a forest-dwelling faction, this sculpt has the presence to make the table go quiet. It works equally well as a dangerous encounter piece on the board or as a striking display miniature on the shelf.
A great fit for adventurers who:
- Are running Feywild arcs or Wild Beyond the Witchlight-adjacent campaigns
- Need elite soldier or lieutenant NPCs to flank a BBEG encounter
- Want a display piece with strong visual personality and intricate surface detail
- Are collecting across the full Lord of the Grove Soldier range
Encounter Hook:
The party has been negotiating passage through the Thornwood for three days. On the fourth morning, they find four of these soldiers standing in a silent line across the path — spears diagonal, eyes unblinking. Behind them, something vast stirs between the trees. The archfey has heard enough of the negotiations.
