Lord of the Depths (Quorenderi) by DM Stash
Description
From the lightless trenches of the deep ocean he rose — Quorenderi, Lord of the Depths — his maw agape and his will made manifest in writhing masses of tentacles that answer his every command.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Quorenderi is no mere sea creature. He is a sovereign of the abyss — a towering, fish-scaled sorcerer clad in layered armour etched with abyssal runes, whose open jaws reveal rows of predatory teeth mid-incantation. His right hand conjures a churning knot of octopus tentacles drawn from the deep, while his left wields a serpentine staff topped with a writhing mass of the same. Smaller tentacles curl around his scaled legs and erupt from the base beneath him, as though the ocean floor itself obeys his call. Every surface of this sculpt rewards a painter's brush — scaled flesh, layered plate, ragged cloth, and the sucker-lined undersides of countless reaching limbs.
Whether you cast him as a Kraken priest ascendant, a Far Realm-touched warlord commanding the coastal cultists, or the final revelation behind a nautical campaign's central mystery, Quorenderi has the presence and the detail to hold the table's attention the moment he hits the board. He works equally well as a focal point on a display shelf, demanding the kind of slow appreciation that only a sculpt this intricate earns.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding boss monster for Underdark or deep-sea campaign arcs
- Are building a Kraken cult, abyssal warlock patron encounter, or coastal horror scenario
- Want a show-stopping centrepiece miniature for their display collection
- Love painting layered textures — scales, armour, cloth, and tentacles all in one model
Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to investigate a coastal village where the tide no longer goes out — it has been three weeks, the water rises slightly each day, and every fisherman who rowed out to investigate returned speaking only in a language no one recognises. At the edge of the flooded harbour, a vast shape rises slowly from the deep, staff raised, tentacles unfurling across the surface of the water — and the voice in everyone's head says simply: kneel.
