Description

Still as standing water and twice as dangerous, the lizardfolk scout holds its crouch — spear angled low, jaw parted, eyes tracking something the party hasn't spotted yet.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 2 of our Lizardfolk Scout range from Novaminis, and it's a sculpt that earns its place on the table. The scout is caught in a low, watchful crouch — one knee down, spear gripped and levelled, its heavy jaw open in a silent threat display. A rough-stitched cloak is draped across broad shoulders, the scaled tail swept out behind for balance, and every claw and scale plate has been rendered with the kind of detail that rewards a careful paint job. The rear of the cloak shows hand-stitched cross-lacing, a small but telling detail that speaks to a creature that makes do — and makes it work.

Whether you're fielding a tribe of territorial lizardfolk defending their bayou, running a player character with cold-blooded cunning, or populating the edge of a yuan-ti ruin with dangerous scouts, this miniature brings presence and specificity to the table. It works just as well on a display shelf as it does in the thick of an encounter.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need convincing lizardfolk scouts, sentinels, or skirmishers for swamp-based encounters
  • Are playing a lizardfolk Ranger, Fighter, or Rogue and want a characterful player character mini
  • Want a named NPC with a distinct, readable pose that tells a story at a glance
  • Enjoy painting reptilian textures, scaled limbs, and weather-worn fabric
  • Are building out a lizardfolk warband and need variation across multiple sculpts

Encounter Hook:
The party's canoe has barely cleared the reed bank when they spot it — a lizardfolk scout crouched low on a cypress root, spear levelled, jaw open in a slow hiss. It hasn't called for reinforcements. Not yet. Whether it's a territorial warning, a test of nerve, or the opening move of an ambush depends entirely on what the party does next.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a spot of glue. If you'd like a different scale, just get in touch and we'll sort it out. Every miniature is desupported and quality checked before dispatch; the nature of the printing process means the occasional minor mark may be present, but these are easily tidied up before priming.

For any Tabaxi players out there — this one got an extra slow blink on its way out the door.

Pairs well with player character minis — build out your swamp encounters with more from Novaminis.
