Description

The swamp fell silent the moment it stepped into the torchlight — bristling with javelins, bones, and the kind of cold reptilian focus that tells you negotiation was never on the table.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 02 of our Lizardfolk Brute range, sculpted by Novaminis. Where the first brute might hold the line, this one is caught mid-advance — weight forward on one clawed foot, jaws open wide in a threat display, one arm outstretched with a bundle of javelins clutched in its grip. A curved blade hangs at its hip alongside a bone-and-rope flail, and a clutch of javelins jut from a back harness like a porcupine's spines. The heavily textured scale armour across its torso and thick tail trailing behind it give this sculpt a real sense of mass — this is not a creature that sneaks. It arrives.

The detail on this sculpt rewards close attention: individual scales, wrapped cord bindings on the weapon hafts, feather-fletched javelins, and a serrated tail all speak to a lizardfolk culture that repurposes everything it hunts. Whether you paint it in muted marsh greens and muds or lean into vivid tropical colouration, this brute has the surface texture to make every brushstroke count. Equally at home on a gaming table or a display shelf.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Want a named lizardfolk champion or war-leader for a swamp or jungle encounter
  • Are running a lizardfolk tribe as recurring antagonists or reluctant allies
  • Need a visually distinct brute to pair alongside pose 01 for a multi-model encounter
  • Collect lizardfolk miniatures for display or army-building projects

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to broker a truce between a river settlement and the lizardfolk clan that controls the delta. They arrive at the meeting point to find the elder has sent a champion in his place — this brute, silent, weaponed to the teeth, watching them with unblinking amber eyes. He carries a message bone in one hand. Whether it is an offer or a warning depends entirely on what the party does next.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. If you'd like a different scale, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help. Each piece is quality checked before dispatch; as with all high-detail sculpts, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present and are straightforward to clean up.
