Description
The savannah falls silent as the great lion steps from the tall grass — mane flowing, amber eyes fixed, every muscle coiled with the certainty that it is the apex of this food chain.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Few creatures command a tabletop quite like a fully realised lion. This sculpt by Mia Kay M3DM captures the animal at its most regal — standing four-square on a textured rocky base, head held high, that magnificent mane cascading in layered waves around a broad, serious face. It's not roaring or lunging; it's watching, and somehow that's more unsettling. The pose reads equally well as a wild predator sizing up the party, a druid's bonded companion, or a guardian spirit bound to a desert temple.
Whether you're running a savannah hex-crawl, a Conjure Animals encounter gone sideways, or a Ranger with a big personality and bigger taste in animal companions, this mini brings genuine weight to the scene. It's also a compelling piece for display collectors who appreciate naturalistic fantasy sculpts with real sculptural craft behind them.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a well-proportioned beast mini for D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
- Are Dungeon Masters building wilderness, desert, or plains encounters
- Play Rangers or Druids with a lion companion or wildshape form
- Collect and paint fantasy creatures for their display shelf
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to track a cattle thief in the farmlands south of the city — but the culprit turns out to be a scarred male lion, unnaturally large, with a rusted iron collar half-buried beneath its mane. Someone bound this creature once. The binding has clearly broken. And the lion has not forgotten what humans are capable of.
