Description

They said Bellath was merely a lieutenant — but no one who looked into those rows of teeth ever questioned the rank above him.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

This bust captures Lieutenant Bellath mid-snarl: a heavily armoured creature of clear military bearing and bestial ferocity. The sculpt presents a broad, muscular torso wrapped in riveted plate armour, its surface scarred and battle-worn, while the head erupts from within an imposing horned helm — multiple jagged spines rising from the crown like a war standard made of bone. The jaw hangs open to reveal row upon row of needle-sharp fangs, the expression less a roar and more a promise. Every surface tells a story: the deep grooves in the armour plating, the organic texture of the creature's hide beneath, the asymmetric swept-back horns that frame a face built entirely for intimidation. This is a sculpt that rewards careful, considered painting — from the layered metal of the pauldrons to the raw, exposed gumline of that fearsome maw.

Whether you place Bellath on a dedicated display shelf or deploy him as visual inspiration for a warlord NPC your players will genuinely dread, this bust carries real narrative weight. He reads equally well as a hobgoblin war-captain, a fiendish champion, or the armoured lieutenant of something far worse lurking deeper in the dungeon. The sculpted base adds architectural gravitas — riveted stonework that grounds the piece and gives it a finished, display-ready presence straight off the support.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Want a large-format painting project with meaningful surface detail at every level
  • Are building a fantasy bust collection for display or competition entries
  • Need a memorable villain portrait to set the tone at the table
  • Are looking for a gift piece that communicates serious hobby ambition
  • Want a striking centrepiece for a shelf, cabinet, or gaming room display

Encounter Hook:
The party has been told to negotiate with the Ironmaw warband — but when they enter the command tent and find Lieutenant Bellath seated at the head of the table, helm still on, jaw slowly working, they realise the warlord didn't send an emissary. He sent the one soldier he trusts to make the decision for him. What Bellath decides in the next ten seconds will determine whether this becomes a parley or a massacre.

Details

This is a display bust, scaled and designed for painting showcase and collection rather than standard tabletop play. It arrives on its sculpted architectural base, printed with exceptional detail across the armour, horns, and facial structure. Please note that supports will be removed prior to dispatch, though minor cleanup marks are possible — these are easily addressed with light sanding or a craft knife prior to painting.
